Honouring a historical background

In 2024, Sound Environment had the pleasure of collaborating with SMA Projects to deliver a high end, experience first sales suite for their Regent Development.

To complement the design aesthetic of the space, Sound Environment created multiple immersive A/V experiences that honour the building’s heritage as a movie cinema.

An Immersive Cinema Experience

The main drawcard for this project was the multi-projector immersive room. This 180 degree projection experience envelopes customers as they are introduced to Regent and all it has to offer. Along with the quad projector setup is an impactful custom 6.1 surround sound system, that plays back bespoke spatial audio along with the stunning visuals. Because of this specially designed audio system, we’re able to accurately place sounds around the listener, deepening their connection with the site.

And in keeping with the site’s Cinema roots, we incorporated custom controlled lighting that makes the space feel like a real cinema.

It’s all about the ambience

When a sales space is as luxurious and well appointed as Regent, it’s so important to complement all this attention to detail with an audio ambience that creates a relaxed and social vibe.

In the central light dwelling., Sound Environment designed a custom soundscape consisting of natural sounds from our library. These sounds bring a touch of the natural world inside, allowing visitors to truly relax and enjoy a curated experience. Along with this, we also installed a custom BGM system that delivers even and thoughtful audio around space.

Automation that makes life easier

All of this is great, but if it’s not easy to use then it will never have the desired impact.

The entire system is controlled by a simple app, and allows complete control over the system. Volume, music selection, soundscape control, and controlling the immersive cinema is all possible from one simple place.
